Individual Counselling Sessions

Counselling offers a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I’m here to listen — to really hear what’s going on for you — and to help you make sense of the challenges you’re facing. Together we can gently untangle what feels difficult, explore different perspectives, and begin to find ways forward that feel steadier and more manageable.

I meet you where you are, respecting your individuality and I aim to be a steady anchor for you throughout our time together. We may meet some moments that feel challenging to explore, but we will only ever go at a pace and depth that feels safe and supported for you.

People often come to see me when they are experiencing things like:

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Perfectionism and self-criticism

  • People-pleasing patterns and difficulties setting boundaries

  • Exploring self-identity or unmasking after late-discovered neurodivergence (formal or self-diagnosed)

  • Life transitions and periods of change

  • Low self-esteem, self-doubt or feeling ‘not good enough’

  • Low mood, feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself

  • Burnout, exhaustion or feeling emotionally drained

  • I work with adults (18+) who are looking for a supportive, non-judgemental space to better understand themselves and their experiences.

You may be feeling stuck, navigating a life change, struggling with anxiety or self-criticism, or simply wanting to feel more at ease in yourself and your relationships. Counselling offers a place to explore what’s going on and begin to find greater clarity and steadiness within yourself.

  • I work with a flexible toolkit of modalities, including person-centered, embodied awareness, behavioural, humanistic and somatic therapies. I draw on what best suits your way of communicating and processing, and respond to your needs at any given time. It’s not your job to fit my tools — it’s for me to adapt my experience and skills to meet you where you are.

Counselling with me is collaborative - I don’t come with a set agenda or structure but meet you where you are and we explore experiences at a pace and depth that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

We are all different, and part of my role is to support you in becoming fully and confidently yourself.

You can read more about my approach, experience, and qualifications on my About Me page

  • We can start with either a free 15-minute phone or Zoom chat, or a full 60-minute session.

The 15-minute call is simply an opportunity to say hello and ask any questions—no pressure or expectations. It’s a chance to see if we feel like a good fit.

The initial 60-minute session provides a supportive space to explore what’s brought you to therapy and consider the kind of support you might need moving forward. You’re welcome to have just this session on its own—there’s no obligation to continue.

If you do choose to continue, sessions usually take place weekly or fortnightly to build consistency and momentum. Meeting less often tends to slow progress and can become less cost-effective, so I no longer offer monthly sessions.

I work on an open-ended basis, with no set number of sessions required upfront. However, I recommend committing to at least six sessions. This allows time to understand what’s brought you here, build trust, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

  • Session fees:

    • 60-minute counselling session: £70
